US STUDENTS ARE INTERESTED IN POST-GENOCIDE RECONSTRUCTION OF RWANDA
A group of 13 students from the University of Southern California in USA, visit NURC with the purpose of being informed on the progress of Unity and Reconciliation in Rwanda.
This Tuesday, 18th June 2013, the National Unity and Reconciliation commission (NURC) has received a group of 13 students from the University of Southern California.
The aim of their visit was to learn about the role NURC is playing to in helping to rebuild Rwanda.
With NURC, they discussed about the reconciliation process in Rwanda, Gacaca issues, the memory of genocide, the social cohesion in Rwanda after 1994 genocide against the Tutsis …
These students, who are interested in international relations, through their visit in Rwanda, had got an opportunity to understand the progress Rwanda made in different domains as they visited different institutions.
