NATIONAL UNITY AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION IN MEETING WITH STUDENTS CLUBS FOR UNITY AND RECONCILIATION

The main purpose of this consultative meeting with Students clubs for Unity and Reconciliation (SCURs) was to share information and discussing on challenges and progress of Unity and Reconciliation among students and others intellectuals.

Yesterday, National Unity and Reconciliation Commission (NURC) had a consultative meeting with Students clubs for Unity and Reconciliation from different High learning Institutions and Universities. The agenda of this meeting was to discuss and have the common future vision of work plan.

The Executive Secretary of the NURC Dr. Habyalimana Jean Baptiste said that he was very interested with ideas shared in the meeting with representatives of Students clubs for Unity and Reconcilation (SCURS) he called upon all members of SCURS to work with their respective Institutions to achieve Unity and Reconciliation not only in the campus but also in the whole Rwandan Community where they are come from.

Nsabimana Janvier is the president of Students clubs for Unity and Reconciliation Forum (SCUR-FORUM), students at Central Africa Adventist University qualified this meeting as crucial because as he said give the members of SCURs new orientation and focus on mandate and Mission of the NURC.

More than sixty members representing the students clubs for Unity and Reconciliation were present during the two days meeting took place in Hill top in Remera Kigali city.
